About

Hi, I'm Alice — and I'm learning to drive in Dubai this summer.

Total newbie. Zero hours behind the wheel. One goal: pass the RTA test. So I built my own AI-powered prep tool — first for me, and now for anyone going through the same thing.

Wish me luck 🤞

Planned timeline: June → September. Fingers crossed I pass on the first try. Following along, learning too, or just want to say hi?

The problem I ran into

When I started studying, every practice app and PDF felt the same: generic, dry, and one-size-fits-all. None of them tracked how I was actually learning — which signs I kept forgetting, where I panicked at roundabouts, or what I'd already mastered and was wasting time re-reading.

I didn't want more flashcards thrown at a wall. I wanted something that watched my behaviour and adapted to me. So I built it.

The AI enhancements I added
Verified content, not copied blogs
The question bank is cross-checked against official RTA and UAE government sources, so I'm not memorizing someone else's wrong answer.
🧩
AI-generated scenario questions
Beyond rote rules, it creates real "what would you do" situations to train actual judgment and hazard perception.
🧠
Adaptive engine
It tracks the exact questions and categories I miss, then re-weights toward my weak spots and resurfaces them on a spaced-repetition schedule — so I study less and remember more.
💡
Tutor mode
Get one wrong and it explains why in plain English, plus a memory hook that actually sticks.
📓
Mistake journal
After each lesson I log what went wrong; the AI spots my recurring patterns and builds a focused drill list for next time.
📊
Progress dashboard + route rehearsal
A live readiness view per topic, plus Street View familiarization of the actual roads around my test centre.
